Refund & Returns Policy

Damaged or Faulty Items (Australia)

If your order arrives damaged or faulty, we’ve got you covered.

  • Please notify us within 48 hours of delivery by emailing sales@salamishack.com.au.

  • Include clear photos of the damaged item(s) for assessment.

  • Once approved, we’ll send you a replacement at no extra cost.

In most cases, you won’t need to return the item. If a return is required, we’ll coordinate with you directly — including any return shipping costs.


Change of Mind or Incorrect Choice (Australia)

For Food Products

Due to the perishable nature of our salami and mettwurst, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind or incorrect selection. Please choose carefully before ordering.

For Non-Food Items (Merch, Accessories)

We may offer a refund, exchange, or store credit if:

  • Items are returned within 30 days of purchase

  • The product is unused, undamaged, and in original packaging

Shipping fees are non-refundable. A $18 prepaid return label can be purchased from us if needed.


Changing or Cancelling Orders

  • Orders cannot be changed or cancelled after 24 hours or once dispatched.

  • If you need to make a change, contact us within 24 hours of placing your order at 1300 618 837 or sales@salamishack.com.au.


Return to Sender (RTS)

If your parcel is returned to us as “Return to Sender,” a $15.95 fee applies. This includes cases where:

  • An incorrect address was provided

  • Delivery was refused

  • The parcel wasn’t collected from the post office in time

If you’d like the parcel re-sent, standard shipping charges will apply.

Exceptions: If the product was faulty or damaged, the RTS fee may be waived at our discretion.


International Orders – Customs & Duties (NZ)

All prices on our website are in AUD and exclude international duties and taxes.

Any customs charges or import duties are the responsibility of the customer.

If you refuse to pay these charges and the parcel is abandoned, we cannot offer a refund.
