Salami Shack aims to make online shopping easier and worry free with our dedicated team. Simply call us anytime during our business hours to talk to a real person who genuinely loves to assist you.

Our office is open Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm AEST. Our friendly team can be reached on 1300 618 837. If you are unable to telephone us during business hours you can also email us at sales@salamishack.com.au, chat to us on live chat(facebook.com/SalamiSahck) or alternatively leave us a message on our answering machine and we will call you back at the earliest convenience.

We endeavour to respond to all emails and enquiries same business day, however, following a weekend we do have a small backlog so it may take us a little extra time.

SAFE SHOPPING

Shopping online with Salami Shack is as safe, if not safer, than shopping at an actual store. This site uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, the latest industry standard encryption, to protect the loss, misuse, or alteration of your credit card information under our control. In the same way use EFTPOS terminals to process credit card transactions.

Once Salami Shack has processed a transaction against a credit card number, we do not store your number, even against your order. That's why, when processing refunds; we need to contact you by phone in order to obtain your card details again.

PRIVACY AND SECURITY

To complete an order via our website, it is necessary for us to obtain specific customer information for it to be processed. We require the customer’s full name, address for billing and delivery purposes, day time phone number, email address and product preferences. Salami Shack takes our customers’ privacy seriously and has taken all of the appropriate measures to ensure with confidence that any information given to us by our customers is securely protected.

For security reasons, we do not store any banking or credit card information. We respect the sensitivity of customers’ personal information and will never share their details with any other organisation.

DELIVERY INFORMATION

At Salami Shack, we always endeavour to have your package delivered on time. If you do need your package urgently, please do not hesitate in calling us so that we can arrange for it to be sent out urgently for you.

Under no circumstances does Salami Shack ever warrant that it will meet a particular delivery date or time. For information regarding delivery times, please visit our Delivery Info page. Delivery timing will depend on the service you select at checkout.

If you are not home at the time delivery is attempted, a calling card will be left. It is your responsibility to follow the instructions on the calling card within a reasonable time frame. Instructions will be either to arrange a convenient time for re-delivery or collection from your local post office.

A failure to not deliver on-time does not constitute a failure on the part of Salami Shack. Salami Shack employs trusted delivery partners including Australia Post, DHL.

GIFT WRAPPING

Salami Shack will endeavour to gift wrap any order where gift wrapping is paid for. We reserve the right to refuse to wrap any item that is considered too large such as large cookware sets and some unwieldy commercial items. In these circumstances you will be informed and a prompt refund of gift wrapping charges will be made.

RETURNS POLICY DAMAGED OR FAULTY ITEMS ON DELIVERY AUSTRALIA

Salami Shack will replace any goods that arrive at their destination faulty or damaged, provided a claim is made within 48 hours from the parcel being delivered and signed for. To confirm the damage we require a photographic evidence. Once received, we will arrange for a replacement to be sent out free of charge. In most cases, we will not require the damaged item returned to us, however, we do request that you keep the damaged item until we can confirm that we do not require it to be returned. If we do require the damaged item to be returned, we will cover the cost of its return. Customers are not charged for returning a damaged item to us.

In the event of damaged goods , the buyer has the right to demand a full refund (including delivery) or replacement of the goods at the seller's expense .

Please note that if you do not advise us of damage to the parcel within 48 hours from its delivery, we are unable to assist you further under any circumstance.

RETURNS POLICY FOR CHANGE OF MIND OR INCORRECT CHOICE AUSTRALIA

For exchanges or returns when it comes to a change of mind or incorrect choice, Salami Shack will happily exchange, refund or store credit any undamaged item(s) less delivery fee if they are returned to us within 30 days of making your purchase. When returning this to us you must ensure the product and packaging is returned in the same condition as you received it. We have a $15.95 prepaid return label you can purchase from us. This policy applies to customers in Australia only.

CHANGING A PROCESSED ORDER

All processed orders cannot be changed, amended or cancelled once they have been dispatched from our warehouse or after 24 hours of placing your order. Please check your order confirmation email carefully which will be sent to your nominated email address to ensure all information is correct. Should you need to make any changes to your order Salami Shack must be notified within 24 hours of placing your order by calling 1300 618 837 or emailing sales@salamishack.com.au. After the 24 hours time frame no changes or cancellations are permitted. 

CUSTOMS AND DUTIES NEW ZEALAND

Prices on Salami Shack website are in Australian Dollars and do not include relevant overseas customs duties, foreign taxes or other fees, which may be imposed and this is the responsibility of the customer. We cannot be held responsible for any additional charges on your international order, nor can we accept a return of the order in this case. Your parcel may be abandoned if you refuse to pay these charges. We will not be held responsible for any loss of funds as a result of this occurrence.

RETURN TO SENDER

If you refuse delivery of a parcel or it is returned to us by Australia Post as a "Return To Sender" you will be charged a flat rate of $15.95 for this. This charge is reflective of exactly what Australia Post charges us for this return service. The only exception from this fee is if a parcel is returned to us and Salami Shack deems the product as being faulty or damaged. If a parcel is marked by Australia Post as "Return To Sender" because of any of these reasons and not limited to just these scenarios: 1. an incorrect address is provided by you during checkout, 2. you refuse to accept delivery for a change of mind, 3. you did not collect your parcel from the Post Office before it was returned to us, the flat rate fee of $15.95 will apply. If you would like the order to be sent back to you, you will need to pay an additional delivery fee as per the standard charges on our website.

All goods and services attract a Goods and Services Tax (GST) at 10% if delivered in Australia. The GST-inclusive price that appears on the site is the price you pay in Australia. Additional charges may apply to orders shipped internationally and are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Salami Shack reserves the right to cancel orders placed at any time provided a full refund is granted to the customer. Order cancellation includes and is not limited to an incorrect pricing display on the website.

Gift Vouchers, Gift Certificates and Gift Cards issued by Salami Shack are strictly valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

All discount coupons must be redeemed in-line with the terms & condition as stated on the email offer sent to your nominated email address. Discount coupons do not apply to any order delivered outside of Australia, including New Zealand. Strictly no exceptions. 

All prizes must be claimed in writing by return email within 5 business days of being notified of winning. All prizes are a gift and do not come with manufacturer warranties. 

It is a violation of the law to place orders under a false name or with a fraudulently obtained credit card. Orders that are found to be fraudulent will be prosecuted to the fullest extent the law allows.

 

Gift Cards Terms of Use
1. These Terms

1.1 You agree to these Terms when you purchase, activate, redeem, enquire or attempt to use a Gift Card.
1.2 The Issuer may amend these Terms at any time without notice.
1.3 These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws and Courts of Victoria.
1.4 Where you purchase these Gift Cards as a personal or business gift, or for other business uses approved by the Issuer, you must ensure that the end gift card holder is made aware of these Terms, including the expiry date.
2. Purchase of Gift Card

2.1 The Issuer issues physical gift cards (Physical Gift Cards)
2.2 Physical Gift Cards may be purchased from the Issuer (salami Shack salamishack.com.au)

3. Redemption of Gift Card

3.1 A Gift Card has no value unless activated in the Issuer’s gift card system (System) and payment has been made.
3.2 A Gift Card may be redeemed for goods and services purchased the Issuer
3.3 On presentation of a Gift Card to the Issuer procures to provide credit up to the balance of the Gift Card as identified in the System, against the purchase price due to the Issuer. If the purchase price exceeds the balance of the Gift Card, the gift card holder must pay the difference using another payment method. No change will be given and any balance on the Gift Card may only be used in whole or in part against future purchases.
3.5 A Gift Card’s Access Code may be required to redeem a Gift Card. On a Physical Gift Card, the Access Code is the last 8 digits located on the reverse of the card
4. Expiry Date

4.1 A Gift Card expires 36 months from date of issue.
4.2 Any balance remaining on a Gift Card after the expiry date will not be able to be redeemed by the Gift Card holder.
4.3 A Gift Card cannot be re-activated at any time.
5. Exclusions

5.1 A Gift Card presented in altered, fraudulent or defaced form will not be able to be redeemed by the Gift Card holder.
5.2 A person may be asked to verify, to the reasonable satisfaction of the Issuer, that they are authorised to redeem a Gift Card on behalf of the original purchaser or the person named in the System.
5.3 A Gift Card cannot be redeemed by email, phone or fax, to pay a store credit account, to pay an interest free deposit or a repayment, or to purchase goods or services that a Issuer is not permitted to supply to a person by law.
5.4 A Gift Card cannot be redeemed for goods and services from Salami Shack stores operating outside Australia.
5.5 A Gift Card cannot be reloaded, used for cash advances or redeemed for cash.
5.6 A Gift Card cannot be used to purchase other Gift Cards.
5.7 A Gift Card cannot be exchanged for a different brand, denomination or type of Gift Card.
5.8 A Gift Card at all times, remains the property of the Issuer, and must not be resold or re-valued by a person, without the express written consent of the Issuer.
6. Transaction Enquiries

6.1 The Gift Card balance and expiry date may be checked by you at any time by:

(c) contacting the Issuer on 1300618837.
6.2 The System will be conclusive evidence of the balance, history and expiry date of a Gift Card.
6.3 Where a Gift Card has an Access Code, the Access Code must be provided to gain access to the card information.
7. Lost and Stolen Gift Cards

7.1 A Gift Card must be treated as cash as it will not be reissued, refunded or honoured if lost or stolen.
7.2 A Gift Card will only be reissued, refunded or honoured where the Gift Card is shown to be faulty or damaged due to the fault of the Issuer or a Franchisee, or where there has been a breach of any condition or warranty implied under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Liability

8.1 Gift Card holders are responsible for the use and safety of their Gift Card at all times.
8.2 To the extent permitted by law, Issuer are not liable to any person for any loss or damage (including direct or consequential loss), nor will they be in default of these Terms for failure to observe or perform any of their obligations under these Terms, for any reason or cause, which could not, with reasonable diligence, be controlled or prevented.
9. Promotion Activities

9.1 The Issuer does not permit the use of Gift Cards in connection with any marketing, promotion or advertising activities without prior written consent of the Issuer..
9.2 Gift Cards may not be used in a manner that implies that a person, business, product or service is endorsed or sponsored by or affiliated with Issuer or any of their related entities.
10. Privacy

10.1 A Gift Card holder may be required to provide proof of identity.
10.2 Personal information may be collected by the Issuer, the Franchisee or their related entities at the time of purchase or redemption of a Gift Card. The Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) imposes obligations on the Issuer and each Franchisee in relation to the collection, security, quality, access, use and disclosure of personal information. These obligations are detailed in the Australia Privacy Principles (APPS). Under the APPS, the Issuer and Franchisee are only permitted to collect personal information if it is reasonably necessary for, or directly related to, one or more of their functions or activities. Personal information collected through this function is used for the purpose of identification. The Privacy Policy of a Franchisee is available from that Franchisee. The Privacy Policy of the Issuer is available by contacting the Issuer’s Privacy Officer on 1300618837. Persons subject to these Terms consent to the use of their personal information in accordance with the Privacy Policy unless they advise the Privacy Officer otherwise.
11. Enquiries and Complaints

11.1 Where a person has a complaint or enquiry about Gift Cards, they should contact the Issuer at 1300618837.
11.2 Where a person has a complaint or enquiry about goods or services purchased by a person using a Gift Card, they should contact the Issuer where they purchased the goods or services.
